Research Polymath

The purpose of this blog is to encourage collaborative research on tractable research problems. This is much in the spirt of Terence Tao’s polymath blog. I might experiment with “collaborative learning” as well. For example, suppose we want to go through Rudin’s Principles of Mathematical Analysis. Perhaps we can apply a polymath approach to this task as well.

  1. Dear Ramanujantao,
I think the idea of a collaborative learning is a vey nice idea (and Rudin’s book is a good choice) and perhaps it was already tried in various places. I also share your excitement from the issue of entanglement although I could not identify myself the specific problem you prpose to study. One thing that I already learned from you is to tag by the “polymath proposal” tag only the first post in a series and not all the followup discussion.

  2. Dear Gil,

Thank you for your feedback. The problem I proposed can be more or less stated as: Does entanglement exist in all finite vector spaces?
